Chilli Pepper ‘Basket of Fire’ is an exceptionally productive and visually appealing variety. Its distinctive bushy growth makes it ideal for hanging baskets and containers. This vibrant plant is covered in small, spicy chillies that transition in colour from deep purple to yellow and orange, ultimately reaching a striking scarlet red, resulting in a stunning display. The plants are quite resilient to cooler temperatures and can continue to produce fruit outdoors well into autumn, and even longer when grown in a greenhouse. These potent peppers have a Scoville heat rating of approximately 80,000 SHU, and they can be dried or used fresh after harvesting. Height: 30 cm (12 inches). Spread: 50 cm (20 inches).
