An outstanding new addition, reminiscent of the garden huckleberry but surpassing it in taste, should not be consumed while still green. This variety is effortlessly cultivated in containers, gardens, or greenhouses, yielding numerous small, distinctively flavoured, sweet blackcurrant-like fruits. They are delightful when consumed fresh from the plant and can also be used to make excellent jams, jellies, or preserves when cooked. Young plants may start producing fruit in as little as 10 weeks. It’s important to note that the leaves of this plant have narcotic properties and are occasionally used as a legal cannabis substitute. However, we strongly discourage and do not recommend this practice.

Sowing & Growing
These plants are exceptionally simple to cultivate, with care resembling that of tomatoes. However, wonderberries are less demanding when it comes to temperature and water requirements, often yielding fruit at a faster rate. They can thrive in full or partial sun outdoors or in a sunny window. Whether sown directly in the ground during summer or started indoors, it’s optimal to ensure soil temperatures are above 21°C for germination. Maintain damp soil and repot as necessary; wonderberry plants require minimal attention to blossom and bear fruit. For additional information, refer to garden huckleberry.

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
