A superb red cultivar that is open-pollinated and yields a large amount of red bulbs. It has crisp white flesh  ringed with red circles and crimson skin. Excellent performance in terms of storage.

Bulbs weigh about 130 grams on average.

 

Sowing Time: March to April.
 
Sowing Instructions: Sow seeds thinly 1cm (½in) deep in drills 30cm (12in) apart.
 
Growing Instructions: When large enough to handle, thin seedlings to 3-4in apart.
 
After Care: Keep well watered during dry weather especially during early stages of growth as the bulb swells.
