Paris Silverskin are very easy to grow, a dual purpose onion. If you like a good size bulb on “spring” onions pull them young or leave to mature and crop as small onions for pickling. This way they can be pickled for use in summer salads or added whole to winter stews. Delicious! One of the most popular crops for the gardener, onions are a huge must for any allotment holder or for the gardener who has their own little vegetable garden at home, as they are so versatile and can be used for a variety of different things.

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
