Native to Brazil and Africa, Spilanthes acmella is a perennial in warmer climates, but it can be cultivated as an annual in temperate regions. Sowing & Growing

For successful cultivation of Spilanthes Bulls Eye, indoor sowing is recommended from March to May, while outdoor sowing can be done in the months of May to June. This versatile plant can function as both an annual and a perennial, gracing your garden with beautiful blooms from June to September. It thrives in environments with full sun or partial shade and adapts well to various soil types, including sand, loam, and chalk. The germination time is relatively quick, ranging from 7 to 14 days, with an optimal temperature range of 20-24°C. Expect the mature plant to reach a height of 18 inches (45cm) with a spread of 14 inches (35cm).

When sowing, simply press the seeds into the soil. Spilanthes Bulls Eye is considered half-hardy, requiring well-drained soil, and proves to be an excellent choice for summer bedding, borders, cut flowers, baskets, containers, pots, and lends an exotic touch to your garden.
