A British bred F1 hybrid variety delivering a steady flow of shiny golden yellow and white striped attractive cylindrical fruits of excellent flavour all summer. The plants are compact open in habit and the stems spine free making harvesting much easier. Height: 45 cm (18″). Spread: 90 cm (36″). A sunny spot protected from strong winds is essential. The soil should be well drained and rich in humus, the more the better.

Sowing & Growing
For an early start in late March, plant a single seed on its edge, burying it 1/2 inch deep in seed compost within a 3-inch pot. Temperature is crucial; maintain a continuous soil temperature of at least 18°C (preferably higher for optimal germination rates) until the seeds have germinated. Ensure the soil remains consistently moist, watering generously around the plants rather than directly over them. Keep the area free of weeds to facilitate proper air circulation.
As the plants begin to produce fruit, feed them every 14 days with a fertilizer designed for tomatoes, as these plants have a robust appetite for nutrients.

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
