Sowing & Growing
Sow seeds thinly directly into a finely raked, warm, and moist seedbed at a depth of 1.3cm (½”). Once the plants are large enough to handle, transplant them using a trowel or dibber, spacing them 30cm (12″) apart. Be sure to water well during dry spells.
Alternatively, sow under cover in trays or cell packs and either grow the plants in large pots or grow bags, or transplant them outdoors. To preserve the maximum vitamin content, steam the vegetables for cooking. Sowing to harvesting takes approximately 16-18 weeks.

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
