Agapanthus ‘Blue Triumphator’ is regarded as one of the finest hardy hybrid varieties of Agapanthus. It features delicate violet-blue flowers, each highlighted by a purple-blue central vein, arranged in spherical clusters that can contain between 30 to 50 blooms. This robust variety can grow up to 1.2 meters tall and typically flowers from July to September. It is both deciduous and resilient, making it an excellent companion for Artemisias.
Soak your Agapanthus roots in water for 3-6 hours prior to planting. Plant your “Bi-coloured African lily” bare roots into temporary pots with a multipurpose compost in spring and grow-on in a sheltered spot outdoors.
I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
