Sowing & Growing
Plant French Beans outdoors between mid-April and July directly in their final position. To ensure proper germination, use a warm soil. Opt for double rows spaced 18 inches (45cm) apart. Alternatively, sow seeds indoors in April under cloches or in trays within a greenhouse. Shield the seedlings from frost, and after they have hardened off, transplant them into the garden from late May to June. Thin out or transplant to maintain a distance of 1 foot (30cm) between plants. Begin harvesting in June, and for a continuous supply, pick beans regularly. Keep the area weed-free and provide ample water during dry periods. These beans are suitable for freezing.

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
