Useful Information

Sowing & Growing

Sow seeds thinly under cover in high-quality seed compost 4-6 weeks before the last frost, maintaining a temperature of 21°F. Lightly cover with soil and ensure consistent moisture. Expect germination within 5-10 days.

Alternatively, outdoor sowing in well-drained soil is possible in early summer, but young seedlings should be shielded from pests and provided with warmth. Once sufficiently large, thin out and transplant to trays, fostering growth under cooler conditions. For a fuller, bushier appearance, pinch back young plants.

Feed the plants monthly to support their development. To extend the flowering period, remove faded blossoms.
