This robust round headed cabbage variety is known for its popularity and reliability. It produces sizable heads measuring 6 1/2 to 7 inches in diameter and weighing 3-4lb. Its compact growth allows for close planting, making it an excellent choice for small gardens. For optimal growth, space the rows 12-18 inches apart and the individual plants 18-24 inches apart. Ensure the cabbage receives ample sunlight. Alternatively, you can plant it directly outdoors in mid spring or early summer after the last frost. Sow 2-3 seeds together every 12-18 inches, with a planting depth of 1/8 inch. Maintain a weed-free and moist environment while protecting the cabbage from pests.
