Sowing & Growing
Sow all year round, in compost in small punnets, on soaked tissue paper on a saucer or broadcast in small blocks in the garden. Keep the growing medium wet at all times. Window sill sowings should be thinned every day, snap the seedlings near the base as required. Should be ready within two weeks of sowing.
Cress for salad garnishing is an all year crop but in the midst of winter use warm water and move away from cold windows.

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
