Useful Information

Sowing & Growing

Start off indoors by sowing the seeds onto a bed of moist, well-drained seed compost. Gently cover them with a layer of soil and provide optimal conditions for propagation by introducing mild heat. Expect germination to occur within a span of 7-14 days. Once the seedlings develop two true leaves, carefully transplant them into 8cm pots, ensuring a minimum temperature of 15°C. Gradually acclimate the plants and, after the risk of frost has passed, proceed to plant them outdoors, spacing them at 60cm intervals or accommodating three plants per grow bag. If opting for cultivation in an unheated greenhouse, adhere to the same procedures, delaying the planting until March or April. These tomatoes are characterized by ease of growth; maintain soil moisture and introduce a high-potash plant food once fruits begin to appear. This versatile variety thrives both outdoors and within the confines of a greenhouse.
