Sowing & Growing
In spring, sow the seeds at a depth of 1/16 inch. Expect germination within 6-14 days at temperatures ranging from 18-24°C. Once the seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into 3-inch pots. Continue their growth under cooler conditions, and when they reach about 8 inches in height, either plant them in their designated spots in the greenhouse or gradually acclimatize them to outdoor conditions before planting them out 18 inches apart. Choose a warm and sunny location with moist, fertile, well-drained soil and ensure regular watering. Provide support and consistently tie in the plants. Remove side shoots, restricting each plant to one main stem. In late summer, expedite ripening by removing the growing tip.

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
