Sowing & Growing
Sow the seeds at a depth of 1/16 inch in spring, germination typically takes around 6-14 days at a temperature of 18-23°C. Once the seedlings reach a sufficient size, transplant them into 3-inch pots. Cultivate them under cooler conditions, and when they reach a height of about 8 inches, you can either plant them in their designated spots in the greenhouse or gradually acclimate them to outdoor conditions for eventual planting. Space them 18 inches apart in a warm and sunny location with well-drained, fertile soil, ensuring consistent watering. Provide support and regular tying in, and prune away side shoots to maintain a single main stem. To expedite ripening, remove the growing tip in late summer.

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
