An heirloom American beefsteak variety, widely cultivated and favoured in the United States. The substantial vines consistently yield abundant harvests of pink/red fruits ranging from 8 oz. to 1 pound, displaying a deep red colour and exceptional flavour. Start sowing from February onward in pots, ensuring adequate warmth for germination. Transplant into the greenhouse from May onward or acclimate them outdoors after proper hardening off in June. Prevent exposing the plants to excessively cold temperatures, as this may lead to a purple tint and hindered growth.

Sowing & Growing
Cultivating Pink Brandywine tomatoes closely resembles the process for other tomato varieties. These plants thrive in full sunlight and should be adequately spaced at 18 to 36 inches (45 to 90 cm.) apart or placed in separate containers. Ensure the soil is nutrient-rich, well-draining, and maintain regular watering to support their growth. Providing one to two inches (2.5 to 5 cm.) of water per week is crucial for optimal development, preventing fruit cracking. While Pink Brandywine tomatoes may not yield large quantities, they reward you with some of the most flavourful tomatoes, maturing approximately 30 days after other tomato varieties have started producing.

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
