Sowing & Growing
Given its size, it is recommended to start this tomato under glass to allow for an extended ripening period. The larger size also requires slightly more spacing between plants.
To start, sow the seeds in early spring at a depth of 1/16 inch. Expect germination within 6-14 days at temperatures ranging from 18-24°C. Once the seedlings are sufficiently large, transplant them into 3-inch pots. Continue their growth under cooler conditions, and when they reach about 8 inches in height, position them in the greenhouse. When planting outdoors, ensure a spacing of 24-36 inches apart.
Provide adequate support and regularly tie in the plants. Remove side shoots, keeping the plant restricted to one main stem. In late summer, expedite ripening by removing the growing tip.

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
