Sowing & Growing
Sowing your seeds is a simple and rewarding process. For a successful start, sow directly in the summer and autumn, placing the seeds 25mm deep and 15cm apart. Expect seedlings to emerge within 2-3 weeks at a temperature range of 15-18°C. This hardy annual may benefit from additional support to shield the plant from unexpected windy conditions. Enjoy the beauty of flowering within 90-100 days.
For September sowings, plant seeds directly in the flowering site at a depth of 2cm. Opt for pots with five seeds each for later sowings in October and November, placing them in a cold frame. If you’re sowing in January, a heated glasshouse is ideal, while March sowings thrive in a cold frame. Finally, for April sowings, plant seeds directly into the flowering site. With these guidelines, you’re on your way to a successful and vibrant garden.

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
