Sowing & Growing
Sow Air Warden Sweet Pea seeds from September to April. For September sowings, sow directly in the flowering site at a depth of 2cm (3/4″). In later sowings, use pots with five seeds in each. Opt for a cold frame for sowings in October and November, a heated glasshouse for January, and a cold frame for March. Directly sow in the flowering site for April.
After raising sweet pea seedlings in the glasshouse, harden them off in March and plant them out the following month. Plant directly into the flowering site with 15cm (6″) spacings. Thin any directly sown seedlings to 10cm (4″) apart. Regularly pinch the tops of the flowers to encourage new and stronger growth.
Expect maturity from late June to September.

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
