This early-harvest variety of runner bean produces a prolific yield of exceptionally long, smooth, and slender beans, reaching up to 20 inches in length. The beans exhibit excellent shape and colour, while the vibrant red flowers serve as an additional striking feature.

Sowing & Growing
Enorma Runner Bean Seeds can be sown from April to June. For early sowings under glass, use a temperature of 16°C, placing three seeds per 8cm (3in) pot filled with seed-sowing compost. Outdoor sowings can start from May onwards directly into the growing site, with seeds placed 5cm (2in) deep. Sow 2-3 seeds every 20-30cm (8-12in) apart, and space rows 60cm (24in) apart.
Once seedlings sown under glass are gradually hardened off, they can be planted outside in late May, ensuring all risk of frost has passed. Insert a support cane at each planting station, or create circular plantings with canes joined at the center to form a wigwam. For an optimal crop, space canes 30-45cm (12-18″) apart, with three beans planted per cane. Water regularly, especially during dry weather.
The Enorma Runner Beans typically mature from July to September.
