sow at a rate of 14Kg per Acre
Avoid planting around frosts, floods and summer heat
Broadcast sow and compact, or drill and harrow.
Keep seeds and sprouts watered, use spot weedkiller if necessary. As the ley grows it will crowd out weeds.
Usually maintain by grazing, and cut if necessary during rest periods.
