Sowing & Growing
When sowing these seeds, ensure they are barely covered, placed at a depth of about 5mm (1/8″). Anticipate germination within 20 to 25 days after planting.
Once the seedlings emerge, thin them out, leaving approximately 15cm (6″) of space between each plant to promote proper growth and prevent overcrowding.
For extended blooming, consider cutting back about half of the flowering stems in early summer. This practice helps prolong the period during which the plants produce flowers.
Linum plants thrive in well-drained soil with a pH range between 5.0 and 7.0. Avoid using fertilizer and manure, as overly rich soil can hinder blooming.
Due to its sensitivity to root disturbance, Linum is not suitable for transplanting. If more plants are needed, it is generally better to sow additional seeds rather than attempting to relocate established ones.

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
