Sowing & Growing
Initiate the cultivation process indoors by sowing the seeds onto moist and well-drained seed compost. Ensure that the seeds are lightly covered with soil or vermiculite, as light is crucial for germination. The ideal temperature for this phase is within the range of 13-16°C, and germination typically takes 21-28 days. If germination proves challenging, a cold stratification method can be employed. To execute this, relocate the seeds to a cooler environment at 4°C for 2-4 weeks and then return them to a warmer setting. Once the seedlings are of sufficient size to handle, transplant them into 8cm pots. After acclimatization, proceed to plant them outdoors, ensuring a spacing of 45cm, once the risk of frost has subsided.

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
