Purple Teepee grow to about 60 cm tall and are tender, especially in late Spring and early Summer. Purple Teepee is a second early variety with purple pods which turn dark green when cooked. The pods are held above the leaves which makes picking easy. Pod length is 12-15 cm.

Sowing & Growing
Sow indoors April to May, sow seeds 20mm deep in 8cm pots of seed compost. Propagate at 12-25°C. Germination takes 7-10 days. Do not exclude light.
Once germinated grow on in cooler conditions until frost has passed. Acclimatise 7-10 days before planting out. Alternatively sow directly outside May to July into warm soil 5cm deep, spacing 25cm, rows 60cm apart.
