Annual delphiniums which flower longer and harder than the perennial forms. This is one of the best varieties with dense flower spikes in a brilliant range of colours. It makes a good cut flower with an excellent vase life, looking good for 10 days.

Sowing & Growing
Can be sown where it is to flower, sow outdoors March-May or August-October, 0.5cm deep, directly into finely-prepared, well-drained soil, which has already been watered. Seedlings usually appear in 14-28 days. Thin seedlings to 25cm (10″) apart. Water well until plants are established. For a continuous display, make sowings at two to three-week intervals. Sowings made in curves, rather than straight lines, often create a more pleasing effect. Late summer and autumn sowings will flower the following year, often earlier than spring sowings.
