Sowing & Growing
Begin your Cleome by sowing indoors during late winter to early spring (January to March). It’s essential to provide a two-week cold, moist stratification period before sowing to enhance germination. Subsequently, sow the seeds on the surface of fine compost indoors at 18-24°C, ensuring they receive sufficient light for germination. Once the seedlings have developed well, transplant them individually and nurture them under cover. Promote the growth of additional shoots by pinching out the tips, but exercise caution during handling, as Cleome is sensitive to root disturbance.

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
