True to its name, this celery variety boasts tall, crisp, and stringless green stalks. It features tightly folded hearts and thick, well-rounded stems. While celery is commonly enjoyed in salads for its sweet and crisp texture, it also proves delicious when braised or chopped into casseroles.

Sowing & Growing
Sow the fine seeds from February to April by placing them thinly in pots or trays under glass at 18°C. Scatter the seeds on the surface of moist seed-sowing compost and lightly cover them with soil to a depth equivalent to their size. Once the seedlings reach a sufficient size for handling, transplant them into trays, spacing them 5cm (2″) apart. When the seedlings reach a height of 6-7cm (3-4″), gradually acclimate them to outdoor conditions before planting them out 20cm (9″) apart, ensuring all risk of frost has passed.
Adequately water the plants throughout the growing season, and anticipate maturity between August and November. Celery necessitates consistent watering during the summer, and occasional weak foliar feeding can be advantageous.

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
