Sowing & Growing
Sow the seeds thinly in trays or place two seeds per cell in modules under glass at a temperature of 13°C. Later sowings can be made in a seed bed by creating shallow drills about 2 cm (3/4″) deep, in short rows. Choose a sunny position for sowing, ideally one that is sheltered from strong winds.
Once the seedlings in the glasshouse show their first pair of leaves, prick them off into trays spaced 5 cm (2″) apart or thin out the modules to one seedling per cell. Gradually harden them off before planting out when they reach a height of about 15 cm (6 in). Plant in beds with 60 cm (24 in) between plants and 90 cm (36 in) between rows. For outdoor sowings, thin the plants to 7-10 cm (3-4 in) apart. Once the plants are large enough, lift them and transplant them into their final positions, spaced the same as described above.
The plants will reach maturity between September and November.

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
