A great choice if you are looking to brighten things up with some colour! The Amaryllis Gift Kit contains 1 Amaryllis bulb, 1 plastic pot and a bag of potting compost. It’s the perfect gift for any of your gardening friends!
Keep in a bright, warm, sunny place, ideally at about 20°C, free from the draughts of an open window. A shelf above a radiator is ideal. Plant the Amaryllis bulb between six and eight weeks before you would like it to bloom. Cover two-thirds of the bulb with the compost, leaving the upper third uncovered. Water your Amaryllis from the top, keeping the soil continually moist but not so wet that water collects in the saucer. Once in bloom, feed every 10 days with a standard liquid feed.
