Sowing & Growing
Sow sparingly in a sheltered location once the threat of frost has passed. Allow 4-6 weeks in high-quality seed compost for the development of robust seedlings. Lightly cover the seeds with soil upon placement and maintain consistent moisture. Germination typically occurs within 5-10 days. Alternatively, sow directly outdoors in well-drained soil after the last frost, usually around mid-May, but provide protection from common pests for the seedlings.
When the seedlings are sufficiently large, thin them out and transplant into trays, nurturing them in cooler conditions. For fuller, bushier plants, pinch back young seedlings to their first set of leaves. Provide monthly feedings and remove spent blooms regularly to encourage continuous flowering.

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
