Sowing & Growing
Sow in late winter/spring or mid-late summer at a depth of 1.5mm in quality seed compost, ensuring darkness as it promotes beneficial conditions. Germination typically takes 14-21 days at temperatures between 19-24C. Maintain the soil’s slight moisture without subjecting it to high temperatures that may hinder germination.
Once the seedlings are sufficiently robust, transplant them and foster a cool environment. Gradually accustom them to outdoor conditions over 10-15 days before planting them out, ensuring all frost risks have passed. Space them 23-30cm (9-12in) apart in various soils, whether in full sun or partial shade.

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
