Purple loosestrife forms tapering spikes of purple‑red blooms that appear from June through August, with dark green, willow‑like leaves. It is described as an effective gargle and wound cleanser and is said to help stop bleeding quickly. The plant typically grows in wet, boggy habitats—along riverbanks and ponds, in ditches, and in marshy areas where damp conditions are needed. Purple loosestrife is pollinated by bees and butterflies, both of which have long tongues. It reaches a height of about 1 to 1.5 meters (roughly 3–4 feet).

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
