Sowing & Growing
Direct sow after danger of frost has passed, from April to June 3mm deep into well prepared soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Sow in rows 30cm apart. Germination takes approximately 3 weeks, thin seedlings when large enough to handle to 15cm spacing.
This does prefer a fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full or partial sun. Water during dry periods. Very easy to grow. Deadhead regularly to extend the flowering window.
