Bigger than the typical size, ‘Midnight’ boasts deep maroon flowers that take on an almost black hue in specific lighting. These blooms emerge in clusters early in the season, and their long stems and delightful fragrance make them perfect for cutting and enhancing freshly arranged bouquets.

Sowing & Growing
Between October and late March, sow seeds in pots filled with high-quality seed compost, and nurture them in a cold frame. After the threat of severe frosts has diminished, transplant the seedlings into the garden or pot them for patio growing. Alternatively, direct sowings can be done in October or from March to April.
For optimal growth, enrich the planting hole with ample well-rotted organic matter before planting. While in the growth phase, provide a balanced liquid plant food every two weeks, and regularly deadhead to promote continuous flower production.

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
