Sowing & Growing
For successful cultivation, begin by sowing your seeds indoors. Surface sow them onto a moist, well-drained compost, and then cover them with vermiculite or a light sprinkling of additional compost. Maintain an ideal temperature range of 18-24°C for germination, which typically occurs within 7-14 days. Once the seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into 8cm pots and continue their growth in cooler conditions. Prior to planting outdoors, make sure to acclimatize the seedlings, and do so after the risk of frost has passed, spacing them approximately 30cm apart.
In terms of growing these plants, they thrive in ordinary soil that leans a bit towards the dry side, all while basking in full sunlight. These plants are relatively low-maintenance, requiring minimal attention.
For cultivation, keep the flowering window extended by regularly deadheading or cutting the flowers. In the spring, established plants can be divided to promote healthy growth and propagation.

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
