Characteristics
The ‘Korbin’ rose is a highly popular and resilient floribunda cultivar that has earned the Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Garden Merit (AGM).
  • Flowers: It produces abundant clusters of slightly fragrant, double white flowers, about 7-8 cm (3 inches) across. The buds often have a pink tinge before opening into pure white blooms.
  • Flowering Period: It is a prolific, repeat-flowering variety that blooms continuously from early summer through to the autumn.
  • Foliage: The plant has glossy, light green, deciduous foliage.
  • Growth Habit: As a standard (tree) rose, it is grafted onto a stem to provide height, typically reaching an ultimate height of 0.5–1 meter for the bushy head (not including the stem length, which can be around 80cm).
  • Growing Conditions: It is fully hardy and performs best in full sun and fertile, moist, well-drained soil, but is quite tolerant of different soil types, including clay.
  • Disease Resistance: It is noted for being disease-resistant and generally easy to grow.
