Planting
Lilies can be planted from early autumn to mid-spring, with autumn planting aiding in their acclimatization and establishment before the onset of new spring growth. However, if your soil tends to be heavy and wet in winter, spring planting is preferable. Aim for a sunny location with a touch of light shade at the base, and plant each bulb at a depth of 10cm (4in) in well-drained soil enriched with organic matter or leaf mould. Maintain intervals of approximately 30cm (12″) between bulbs and provide support before the flowers emerge. Promptly deadhead faded blooms and trim dead stems to ground level at the end of autumn.
Note that lilies are toxic if ingested by cats, while for humans and pets, they are meant solely for ornamental purposes and should not be consumed.

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
