Sowing & Growing
Sow March to May, plant out April to May, for a harvest period between June to October. Sow Outside in spring in shallow seed drills, keeping watered during dry weather. Germination may be erratic, so don’t lose your patience. Alternatively Sow in Pots in doors at a temperature of 15-20C.
Thin out direct sown seed-lings or transplant into individual pots when large enough to handle. Grow on and plant in well prepared soil or containers in a sunny position. Harvest Fresh leaves for drying at any time. Pick young leaves before the sun gets too hot and add to summer drinks.

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
