Sowing & Growing
Sowing: Begin by sowing the seeds indoors. Place the seeds onto a moist and well-drained seed compost, covering them lightly with soil. Provide gentle heat for propagation, and germination typically occurs within 7-14 days. Once the seedlings develop 2 true leaves, transplant them into 8cm pots, maintaining a minimum temperature of 15°C. Acclimatize the plants, and when the risk of frost has passed, plant them outdoors with a spacing of 60cm or three plants per grow bag. If sowing in an unheated greenhouse, follow the same process but delay planting until March/April.
Green Zebra is an easy-to-cultivate variety. Ensure the soil remains moist, and once the fruit appears, feed the plants with a high-potash plant food. This versatile tomato can be grown either outdoors or in a greenhouse.

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
