Ericaceous Compost – 60 Litre

A specially formulated peat based mixture for lime hating plants with sufficient osmocote slow release fertiliser for a normal growing season. All plants need a small amount of calcium so we have used dolomitic limestone in this mixture which also provides magnesium generally deficient in peat.

Usage

Suitable for heathers, conifers, azaleas, rhododendrons, camellias and other plants that require acidic conditions. Use straight out of the bag for potting or also for top dressing established plants.  Generally you will find glossier foliage and more intense colours by using our ericaceous mixture.
