Belonging to the Liliaceae family, the Dwarf Lily of the Nile, a hardy perennial, is characterized by its common name. This charming plant reaches a maximum height of 60 cm and boasts true blue globular heads that bloom abundantly on sturdy stems, gracefully extending above strap-shaped leaves. Demonstrating apparent hardiness, this variety establishes thick clumps that mature and improve over the years, enhancing its overall visual appeal.

Sowing & Growing
Sow the seeds at any time, ensuring they are covered with compost or grit at a depth of 5mm. Opt for a cool, well-lit outdoor location for sowing. Artificial heat is unnecessary and may hinder germination. Certain species may require a good chilling or freezing in a moist seed tray during the winter to germinate in the subsequent spring. Nurture the seedlings in small pots before transplanting them into well-drained compost in a container or directly into the open ground in a spot with good drainage.

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
