Darlac Compost Aerator/Stirrer/Mixer

Turn your compost heap quickly, regularly and with ease with this two-handed compost aerator. It has been cleverly designed to penetrate and make light work of even the most unkempt heaps and is manufactured with two handles to make turning your compost easier than ever.

By adding air to your heap, you not only speed up the decomposition and composting process, but also reduce the amount of greenhouse gases that are created when your compost heap is starved of air.

How to use
To use, simply push the aerator deep into your compost, turn and pull out – as you do this the toothed blades will unfold, creating pockets of air to help speed up the decomposition. Repeat this several times over your heap to turn the contents and continue the process every couple of weeks.
