Sowing & Growing
Start the sowing process indoors during early spring (February or early March), ensuring a bottom heat of 19°C. Utilize high-quality seed compost with added perlite for effective drainage. Transplant the seedlings to the lawn area in late spring, typically in May. Alternatively, sow the seeds directly outdoors by broadcasting them on finely tilled, weed-free soil in May. Thin them to a 10cm spacing. Maintain a trimmed height of 15cm to promote spreading growth.

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
