This is a splendid mixture with a very wide range of coloured flowers. As soon as the first flower spikes have finished bloom, cut them off to allow the other spikes to develop. It grows to the height of 25cm.

Sowing & Growing
Sow January to March on the surface of a good free draining, damp seed compost. Do not cover the seed. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 10-21 days when kept between 20-30C. Do not exclude light, as this helps germination.
Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into trays or 7.5cm (3in) pots. Grow on in cooler conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 23-30cm (9-12in) apart.
