A true show-stopper that won’t stay quiet once those enormous cactus-dahlia blooms unfurl. You’ll want to show it off to everyone and tell them all about it. The bloom makes a bold statement with a red-and-yellow swirl that seems to ignite the garden. Its compact, tubular center, edged with fringe, twists like dancing flames, while the outer petals—bright red tipped with yellow—carry that flame outward to the edge. It’s a blaze you won’t want to snuff out, and you won’t have to. Show ’n’ Tell’s blossoms last well, and regular deadheading will encourage fresh blooms to start again.
Dahlia tubers should be planted outdoors in Spring, Once the frost has passed, at a depth of 10 cm in fertile, well-drained soil. They thrive in sunny locations and should be spaced about 45 cm apart. In regions with severe cold, it is advisable to lift the dahlias and store them in potting compost during the winter months. To promote growth, a high potash fertilizer should be applied every few weeks throughout the summer, and deadheading should be performed as needed.

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
