Sowing & Growing
The seeds can sown in almost any soil type, excluding very heavy or acidic soils, in April under cloches or from May to mid-July. Two weeks before sowing outdoors, incorporate an all-purpose general fertilizer into the soil using a rake. Prior to sowing, ensure seeds are soaked. For indoor sowing, start in April at a depth of 5cm, then transplant seedlings when they reach 5cm in height. Alternatively, directly sow seeds 5cm deep after the last frosts have passed, between mid-May and July, spacing them 25cm apart. Provide adequate water and consider supporting the plants with canes and netting if desired. Maintain moisture and a weed-free area, preparing for harvest from July to October. Harvest regularly, picking beans before the internal bean shape becomes visible for optimal taste and quality.

I have just bought all my new seeds for next year’s vegetables after having such great results this year. Budget seeds are so helpful, I’m a newbie in the veg growing world and they have been helpful in choosing the best seeds to start with etc. also much cheaper than elsewhere so if I do mess up in the future it isn’t costing me so much. I thoroughly recommend Budget Seeds for all your veg and flower seeds.
