A popular and simple-to-grow annual garden flower. A smaller growing cultivar that flowers in the middle of summer from a spring planting, with mound-like plants and large, beautiful flower heads of solitary flowers in a wide range of colours from white through pink to deep red. up to fifty centimetres in height.

Plant seeds sparingly in trays or outside in the early spring for summer blossoming that same year. Fill it with 1-2 mm of dirt, then compact.
During germination, keep it somewhat damp.
When seedlings are big enough to handle, place them in trays and let them grow there. Alternatively, if you plant them outside, space them out 20 cm apart.
Plant in either partial or full shade.
prefers a cool, slightly damp climate.
To promote a second bloom, remove any dead blooms.
Will quickly reseed itself if given the chance.
