How Come the Seeds Are So Cheap?
Simply Because We Want To Encourage Growing From Seed
Budget Seeds is a sister website to our main Pretty Wild Seeds Ltd company. As we've grown and evolved throughout year on year growth, and battled through the Covid-19 pandemic, we found ourselves in a position where we simply needed more seed supplies to meet our orders.
It's been a serious passion of ours to get as many people as possible growing from seed, and one of the ways we thought about was looking at beginners and gardener's who maybe didn't have big spaces to play with. What could we do to help now we have even more supplies?
We stripped down the product to the very basic; the seeds. Reduced the seed count, as not everybody needs 1,000 at a time, to a more manageable amount on as many variations as possible. So it's not a risk to try new varieties and species, it's not going to cost beginners, schools and gardening clubs a fortune. They're the exact same quality seeds, from the same batches, we sell in larger quantities on Pretty Wild Seeds, which are certified through DEFRA; just in handier amounts and without the shiny pictorial packets.
